If you haven’t already heard the news, we are working feverishly on our new website. While we’re not abandoning Own A Debbie, we will be moving our original fine art, and hand painted jewelry and accessories to the new site. If it’s painted by me, you will find it there. This site will remain and here you will be able to order everything from reprints to home decor to wearable fashion, all using our exclusive designs.
In the meantime, to whet your appetite for what’s to come, here are a few of the things you will see on the soon-to-come site.
Cod Frey and Sal Mon are the first in a series of whimsical fish art.
Wouldn’t “Everything is Popping up Poppies” look great behind your sofa?
Our hand-painted jewelry will make you stand out from the rest. These were made with slate collected in France.
Our serving platters make excellent hostess gifts.
Are you excited yet? Look for these and much more in our new, online gallery. Stay tuned!
Spring went by quickly and now we are into summer. I’ve been busy testing new marketing ideas and unveiling new art projects for the past six months
So what have I been up to?
First, our biggest announcement. I am really excited about my new online blog coming soon. The Deborah Boyd Gallery will be used exclusively for selling my originals. That will encompass my award winning art, my Little Debbie originals and my handpainted eyeglasses, jewelry and serving platters. There will be no reprints offered from that site. Everything will be one of a kind.
Own A Debbie will still be here. It will be used exclusively for purchasing reprints, our clothing line and everything from bedspreads to furniture made from my designs.
Look for announcements shortly.
I was in France recently and picked up some nice slate pieces for pendants and earrings. The first of these, “Lighthouse Delights” depicts the Ponce Inlet Florida lighthouse. The pendant and earrings are hand painted and the wires are made by hand. Three or four more designs will be available soon and will be sold on the new site.
I did two of my new serving plates and based on the finished result, I will be doing many more. These will also be available in our online gallery.
Your first opportunity to Own A Debbie this month is at my very first show in the lobby of my condo. Stop by March 21 from 10-2 or March 22 from 10-4. I have discounted everything and will have about 40 paintings ranging in size from 4×5 to 40×27 priced from $15 to $125. Don’t miss it! No shipping is available, but you can pay cash, by check or using AMEX, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
If you can’t make that, we will have a variety of my new, “Little Debbie’s” original art, hand painted jewelry and and our new SpecTacular Specs on March 23 at the first annual Daytona Beach Shores Arts and Crafts Fair. It takes place behind the new Community Center at 3000 Bellemead from noon till 4 in Daytona Beach Shores.
