Debbie’s Are Everywhere in February!

Okay.  Not quite everywhere, but certainly around Daytona Beach!

Look for me on February 16 and 17, Saturday and Sunday, at the annual Artists of Ponce Inlet Fine Art Show at the Ponce Inlet Community Center.

I will have many new pieces, and some great buys on some of my older ones.  One of my daily specials will be, Hats, Hats, Hats. This colorful 26×40 acrylic on canvas will make your home or office really pop! Best of all, it’s being sold at $150., more than $300 off the regular price!

If that’s not enough, here’s something to make your home a little more tropical…”Looking at the World Through Rose Colored Sunglasses.  This is an 10.5 x 13.5 acrylic on paper, framed. The painting technique used makes it appear to have a 3D look. This is $95.

If you don’t want to wait until then, The Own A Debbie exhibit is taking place at Cinematique on Beach Street in Daytona Beach all this month.  I have 10 large Debbie’s there, priced from $95 to $150. Now is the time to change the look of your home or office using original art created by a starving artist!

Debbie Wearables are a Hit!

A few weeks ago, I was contacted by VIDA, an international custom clothing company, about submitting my  designs for consideration.  They were accepted and viola! Suddenly I am a clothing designer of sorts. Yes. I have my own label. I’m guessing others like them as well since so many have ordered. I am amazed and humbled.

At VIDA, everything is custom made – from the thread to the fabric. I am very proud  to be part of the team of international artists who gets to create these things.

Below are a few of my designs. I hope you will visit the site and see if anything suits your needs.  We offer everything from wraps and coverups to cashmere scarves, all using Designs by Debbie!

What’s Old Is New Again

                           Waiting For A Train

Now and then I will have something I painted a few years back that I am not entirely pleased with.  Waiting For A Train is one of those that always left me thinking it was missing something.

I’ve learned so many techniques since the earlier version and my tastes in what I paint has changed. That said, four weeks and many hours later, Waiting For a Train is officially finished.

I am more than pleased with the final result and hope you enjoy it as well.
